Ritz Paris – Le Grand Brunch makes a comeback

At the edge of the hotel’s hidden garden, bathed in sunshine, the Brunch has returned to the Summer Salon and tantalizes the taste buds with new delights.

New products include oysters, crab claws, whelks, shrimps and prawns… The Ritz Paris Brunch now has its own fish auction. Islets are also set up to concoct gyozas, pan-fried foie gras and scallops… from bench to plate. And eggs take pride of place: scrambled, poached, fried or Benedictine, chefs introduce them in all shapes and sizes. From one buffet to another, we set sail for the Mediterranean: Lebanon with its mezzés, Greece with its tzatziki and dolmas, Italy with its antipasti and pasta al dente, Spain with Bellota-Bellota… We make a stopover at sea, sailing between labelled smoked salmon and crab salad. A leap into Asia with traditional dim sum and Japan with maki, sashimi, sushi…

While veal marengo and cod in coconut milk simmer, and fine cuts of meat and fish return to the art of carving, the salad bar is the place to be: from Caesar and Niçoise to green papaya and quinoa tabbouleh, “green” is in the spotlight. As for the cheeses, sourced from the finest producers, they make for an exceptional platter. Accompany them with Maison breads hot from the Ritz Paris oven. Finally, viennoiseries, pastries and sweets delight the taste buds. A pure moment of happiness, to share…. or not!

And, as impossible is not Ritz Paris, once a quarter this bluffing brunch will bring its share of surprises. With a change of scenery, it will reshuffle the cards of pleasure and put on a show around a theme.
