For autumn-winter 2026, the Snow Goose by Canada Goose line, directed by Haider Ackermann, extends its categories: leather and footwear, a first. Online launch on 8 October.
Titled Axis of Endurance, the collection is presented today by Canada Goose, whose creative director is Haider Ackermann. It marks two firsts for the Snow Goose line: leather, through a reinterpretation of the Chilliwack Bomber jacket, and footwear, with a rain boot, the Rainboot. For a brand associated with the extreme-cold parka, this is the shift to note: the line no longer settles for nylon, wool and cotton.
As for materials, the press release cites matte and glossy nylons, a virgin wool of fleece type and textured cottons, in a palette of earthy shades punctuated by touches of Acid Orange, Flaming Rose and Goldenrod. The season’s graphic motif, “UNKNOWN”, refers, according to the House, to curiosity and a sense of discovery. The collection’s premise, as Canada Goose puts it: to consider endurance as a trial that is both physical and inner, and to conceive outerwear as a protective environment around the body.
On fur, the position is explicit. Canada Goose states that it remains fur-free. Certain models, including the Ferron, Vega and the Zion Trapper Hat, carry faux-fur trims in recycled polyester, made in part from post-consumer plastic bottles. The share of recycled material is not quantified in the press release; it therefore remains a declaration.
The global campaign was photographed by Julie Joubert, with Mariane Godoy, Samvel Tadevossian, Simon Franck, Marin Fournier, Eliot Cassignat and Cesar Salmon. Haider Ackermann is quoted there by the press release, in an official capacity: he says he did not want to illustrate endurance, believing that some things lose their strength when they are named.
The collection has been sold exclusively online since 8 October, ahead of a wider rollout in Canada Goose stores and at certain retailers.
