Team Bots: deciding what a team can pool

SpaceXAI opens its shared bots in public beta. The announced separation between collective context and private exchanges raises a question of documentary transmission.

A shared bot can hold the same instructions for a whole team without making all conversations common. That is how SpaceXAI describes the workings of Team Bots, launched on 28 September 2026 in public beta in the Teams and Enterprise plans. Files, instructions, connections to applications and memory make up the role entrusted to the bot. Conversations and context specific to each user remain separate, according to the provider.

The bot can also operate in a Slack channel under a dedicated identity. SpaceXAI notably presents internal uses in sales preparation and marketing content review. These examples document its service proposition; they are not an independent assessment of the system’s confidentiality or accuracy.

A collection’s memory needs someone responsible

For a House, a shared context could bring together validated references, the vocabulary of a collection and the reasons for a decision. A correction made to a brief would then become available to the people authorised to continue the work. But not all information should acquire this collective status: an exploratory note or a conversation with a partner may call for a different scope.

The first decision therefore concerns entry into this memory. Who validates a document? Who withdraws an outdated version? How does a team distinguish an approved rule from a proposal under discussion? These responsibilities must be defined before measuring the time saved.

Finally, the beta status invites checking the functions and rights actually available in the chosen plan. A relevant trial would follow the circulation of one precise correction: its origin, its approval and its effect on subsequent answers. That is where shared memory can become a controlled means of transmission.
