In the heart of the lobby of the newly renovated Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile, Mayo combines the conviviality of an afterwork with the simplicity of a Parisian bistro… Dedicated to celebrating French terroir products, Chef Rafael Casas has criss-crossed France in search of the best producers. The menu features some twenty dishes cooked with simplicity and boldness, paying homage to butchers (Metzger Frères), market gardeners (Comptoir des Producteurs), cheesemakers (La Ferme d’Alexandre) and bakers (Lalos). Here, sharing and conviviality come together: all dishes are for sharing, but –foodies beware – can just as easily be enjoyed on their own.
The place is inviting all day long, from breakfast with its large buffet toafterwork with its convivial Soirée des Voisins*, not forgetting its Déjeuner Comptoir**, a varied assortment of ready-made dishes to enjoy on the go, including restaurant favourites such as coquillettes jambon-truffe or tarte au citron…
Designed by New York architect Georges Wong, the setting, combining wood, marble and bright colors, is conducive to sharing and conviviality. It’s a place that brings together those who love to Drink, Eat and Share, to the rhythm of live sessions by resident DJs.
