The brand, owned by Chanel since 2018, launches on 27 October 2026 a collection built around Lake Como. Its prints read better than its craftsmanship claims, which the press release does not document.
Orlebar Brown presented Cruise 2026: Sunshine on Lake Como from Dubai on 8 October 2026. The collection will launch on 27 October 2026. Founded in London in 2007, the brand claims a precise origin, the swim short cut like a tailored garment, and now extends that principle to a full resort wardrobe.
The first point concerns materials. The press release announces fine silk, linen and knitwear “created in the region” of Lake Como, and makes Italian craftsmanship the heart of the collection. No workshop, weaver or spinning mill is named: the territorial anchoring remains a statement by the brand.
The second point, the most concrete, is the prints. Sora is a floral motif applied to shirts and swim shorts, then taken up as embroidery on new styles. Sartoro draws on the repeating patterns of traditional ties and transposes them to beach and resort wear. Forma appears on a pure silk shirt. Another piece combines silk and linen with a stitch called napkin stitch, which the press release presents as a way of elevating summer dress.
Third point, the stripes and the knitwear. The Sunny Stripe runs across trousers, shirts, polos and swim shorts, and is meant to be worn as readily with solids as with prints. The Batten and Kirk knit styles are introduced in bright red and deep blue, amid a palette the brand describes as sun-washed.
