Maison Boizel, founded in 1834 and located on the Avenue de Champagne in Epernay, has opened its doors to visitors from all over the world. The House has chosen to showcase its treasures and jewels in an intimate, confidential and personalized setting. Visitors can enjoy a glass of Champagne on Atelier 1834’s large terrace.
For champagne connoisseurs, Maison Boizel also offers tailor-made cellar tours, taking in the cellar, the cuverie and the historic cellars, which are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These tours are followed by a tasting of two of the House’s champagnes, including the ambassadorial cuvée, Brut Réserve, and Grand Vintage 2013.
Maison Boizel also offers more exclusive tours, such as the “Joyau de France” tour, which allows visitors to discover the cellar, the cuverie and the historic cellars listed as Unesco World Heritage sites, followed by a tasting of two prestige vintage cuvées: Joyau 2008 and Joyau Rosé 2007. The “Trésor” tour is a private visit of the cellar, the cuverie and the historic Unesco World Heritage cellars, followed by a tasting of four champagnes.
The Maison Boizel vineyards, spread over seven hectares, are located in the heart of Champagne’s finest historic growths, including the Côte des Blancs and Avize, where part of the family originates. Maison Boizel works hand-in-hand with its winemaking partners, cultivating vines with respect for nature and the environment.
Florent Roques-Boizel, Chairman and CEO of Maison Boizel, has embarked on a new development strategy for Champagne Boizel, with an ever more precise vision of the wines and the Boizel experience. Each wine is revealed after a long ageing period in the cool cellars at the heart of the House. The search for balance between time and terroir is one of the hallmarks of Boizel Champagnes.
