The Body Shop focuses on all beauty moments, especially bath time. To meet a wide range of needs, the company has diversified its product range, daring to create new, playful and relaxing formulations.
Bath infusion, Fuji green tea and its accessory illustrate this desire for the elsewhere and the experimental. Cleverly designed, the package is playful. Real green tea leaves are combined with bath salts. This preparation can be stored in a metal tea caddy. To complete the experience and continue the parallel with tea preparation, a round infuser is offered. The leaves develop easily, releasing a delicate fragrance. The presence of aloe vera reinforces green tea’s anti-detoxifying and moisturizing action.
Bain Moussant Honeymania is different. The intensity of its honey fragrance and the density of the bubbles revealed by contact with water are seductive. The silky texture of the preparation establishes a new ritual. The moisturizing virtues of honey make skin soft and supple.
Bain au Lait et Miel d’Egypte refers indirectly to Cleopatra, whose interest in donkey’s milk baths was relayed by several ancient authors. Here, desiccated milk is combined with honey to perfect and extrapolate the action of the moisturizing agents. Carefully stored in a canvas bag, the milky bath powder can be scooped out using a wooden utensil supplied with the product. A change of scenery becomes a matter of course.
There’s no doubt that The Body Shop innovates, making the bath a rare “escape” from everyday boredom.
