Fenty Skin turns the body into a ground for olfactory layering

The Allover Body Mist collection, already viral outside France, arrives at Sephora with four scents designed to be combined with one another rather than chosen one by one.

Four formulas, a single logic

Sold at thirty-three euros for one hundred and seventy-five millilitres, the Allover Body Mist comes in four scents: Green Raspberry, in limited edition, blends raspberry nectar, blackberry, blackcurrant, white tea, sweet rose, amber and peach wood; Vanilla Flowers combines Tahitian vanilla, orchid, musk and sweet woods; Hey Bouquet layers jasmine, pink berry, orange zest and sandalwood; Tropic Trip evokes coconut, pineapple and tuberose. A miniature version exists in travel format, nineteen euros ninety for seventy-five millilitres, in the Vanilla Flowers and Hey Bouquet scents.

The bottle as a designed object, not only a container

Each bottle incorporates thirty percent post-consumer recycled material and adopts a colour code specific to each scent. Its textured, non-slip base is directly inspired by sneaker soles — a design choice that betrays attention to daily use, in the bathroom as in the gym bag, rather than to the aesthetics of the gesture alone.

“Allover Body Mist is that final touch, light, effortless, and powerful enough to mark every moment,” sums up Rihanna, founder of Fenty Skin. The formulation of a body fragrance designed to be layered rather than used alone joins the logic already observed at other beauty houses that now treat fragrance as a modular system rather than as an exclusive choice.

Olfactory layering is now reaching body care, after having conquered fragrance and make-up: it remains to be seen how long before it becomes the default grammar of everyday beauty.
