Jumeirah and Humantra unveil Pineapple, a wellness ritual

The pineapple has never been an insignificant fruit. Long rare and precious, it embodied for centuries the attention paid to the guest, the art of receiving with care, before becoming, over time, a universal emblem of sharing and welcome. It is this symbol that Jumeirah and Humantra have chosen to seal their new partnership around Pineapple, an exclusive summer flavour designed to extend the hotel experience well beyond the stay.

Both born in Dubai and now present internationally, the two brands share a vision of a way of living founded on balance and hospitality. The partnership combines Jumeirah’s expertise in creating singular hotel experiences with Humantra’s expertise in functional hydration and everyday quality of life. Convinced that good hydration contributes directly to overall well-being, Humantra has designed simple rituals intended to support energy, concentration and recovery, a philosophy that Jumeirah is now choosing to bring into its rooms.

Free of sugars and artificial additives, Humantra Pineapple is a plant-based drink made from essential electrolytes, minerals and natural ingredients, designed for daily use rather than occasional pleasure alone. “At Jumeirah, we believe hospitality is not limited to the places where guests stay. It is reflected in what they feel, the memories they take away and that sense of reconnection which lasts long after they have left,” says Michael Grieve, Chief Brand Officer of Jumeirah. “Our vision of the art of living guides all the experiences we imagine, and this partnership with Humantra fits naturally within that shared philosophy.”

On the Humantra side, Charlie Wright, founder and CEO, places the project in the brand’s history: “Humantra was born from the idea that hydration is one of the simplest, but also most powerful, levers to improve our everyday well-being. With Pineapple, we wanted to create a flavour that evokes both summer travel and the feeling of recovery, while keeping the functional benefits that make up the brand’s DNA.” A meeting, he adds, that came as a matter of course between two regional brands now expanding internationally, keen to strengthen their global reach together.

Presented in a box with an exclusive design, this limited edition will be available in rooms at a selection of Jumeirah addresses in the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and Europe, notably at Jumeirah Carlton Tower in London, Jumeirah Mallorca and Jumeirah Capri Palace, as well as aboard the Maltese Falcon, the Jumeirah Privé sailing yacht cruising the Mediterranean this summer. A gesture that illustrates an underlying trend in luxury hospitality: wellness is no longer an ancillary service but a language in its own right, which houses are learning to write with the same rigour as the décor or the service in the dining room.
