Taschen is undoubtedly our favorite art publisher. In just over a decade, this publisher has dusted off the art publishing world to create accessible, collectable and entertaining art books.
After a 15-year love affair with Paris and Saint-Germain-des-Prés, TASCHEN crosses the Seine to set up shop for a few months on the Right Bank. Right in the heart of the Marais district, the publisher has created a two-storey space with original graphics featuring “book devourers”, imaginary creatures voracious for culture…. On the first floor, a selection of the finest TASCHEN books; upstairs, the gallery presents Collector’s Editions and numerous Art Editions accompanied by original photographs signed by leading artists such as Annie Leibovitz, Sebastião Salgado, Harry Benson, Bert Stern and Araki, to name but a few.
