This year, the Greek jewelry house ZOLOTAS, founded in 1895, inaugurates its new Paris location, 3 rue de Miromesnil, at the corner of Faubourg Saint-Honoré.
Traditionally, at the dawn of each new year, ZOLOTAS presents a collection of “lucky charms”. For 2017, ZOLOTAS has created CALYPSO, a unique lucky charm adorned with sea waves and the benevolent Big Dipper constellation. CALYPSO symbolizes the inner journey of the person who, guided by instinct, overcomes all obstacles through perseverance and willpower.
In 2017, ZOLOTAS will contribute in France to the noble cause of the SIDACTION association, which since its creation over 20 years ago has been fighting with ardor and dedication against HIV/AIDS.
Founded in 1994, SIDACTION, recognized as a public utility in 1998, is the only AIDS association to fund research. Fighting on all fronts, SIDACTION donates the funds raised in accordance with its statutes: 50% to research and care, 50% to prevention and aid for sufferers in France and abroad. As the epidemic regains ground, it is more important than ever to mobilize in the fight against AIDS.
For the occasion, ZOLOTAS has created three CALYPSO pendants: in matte gold-plated silver for the symbolic price of 30 euros, in polished silver for 40 euros and in polished gold-plated silver for 50 euros. They are presented on red silk cords. They will go on sale from November 7, exclusively on the SIDACTION website and via their various support networks.ZOLOTAS hopes that this CALYPSO good-luck charm will accompany all those who make a daily commitment.
