For a glamorous look, we all know that long lashes are essential. A doe eye without lashes is impossible!
For years now I hardly ever go out without false eyelashes (10min not even every morning and my eyes are the stars!) I also go for eyelash extensions from time to time, especially before going on vacation in fact because I spend my days splashing around in the water (and of course false eyelashes wouldn’t last.).
With eyelash extensions, my eyes stay beautiful all the time and there’s no need for mascara, it’s really great.
A few days ago, I went to discover the upscale Cils en Seine institute in the 17th arrondissement. The welcome is really warm, and you immediately feel at ease in the company of Joana (the founder of Cils en Seine) and Anna – Lash Artist-.
Anna took the time to explain to me what type of lashes we could apply and what result I would get. I’m a keen snorkeler and scuba diver, so my lashes are damaged by the salt (and after spending 3 weeks in Kho phi phi and Kho Lanta I came back to France with really thin, brittle lashes, even though I protect them with various natural oils and also use food supplements to strengthen them).
So Anna did a more difficult job on me than on an average person with no particular eyelash problems.
My lashes look great thanks to Anna (I asked Anna to make the tips a little longer for a “cat-eye” effect).
The result is perfect, very sophisticated if I apply mascara (which is what I wanted) but still glamorous without having to apply make-up to save time (on the photo above there’s no mascara but you can still see the lashes very well and their curves are great).
The Cils en Seine institute offers a range of services, for example, for a very natural look you’ll need to pay around 190 euros and then come in every 3 weeks for a check-up and to replace any lashes that have fallen out (you’ll need to pay 50 euros). Given the results, it’s well worth the investment: the beauty of the look is everything in my opinion…
Anna gave me the “bewitching look”.
I highly recommend the Cils en Seine institute, which lasts about 1 hour. You lie comfortably and feel nothing while the Lash Artist places the lashes. A truly relaxing moment for an incredible result that lasts 3 weeks. Tomorrow I’m off to the Maldives, where I’ll be putting my lashes to the test in salt water once again, but thanks to Cils en Seine I’ll be playing the siren with complete peace of mind!
