In over 30 years, the International Wine Challenge has established itself as one of the world’s leading wine competitions. The 2015 edition crowned two Domaines Jeeper champagnes with a Gold medal for Champagne Grande Réserve and a Silver medal for Champagne Grand Rosé.
This Brut Grande Réserve Champagne, with its brilliant light gold color, is made from 100% Chardonnay. The nose is mineral and floral. On the palate, it is long and sustained, lively and fruity, with lovely citrus notes. Extremely refined, it can be enjoyed throughout a meal.
Silver Medal for Grand Rosé A blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, this rosé champagne has a pretty, brilliant light pink color. Fruity and floral on the nose (notes of strawberry, peony and rose), it is distinguished by its delicacy on the palate. Fine, supple and fruity on the palate, with hints of red fruits (black cherry), this very elegant rosé offers a gourmet pleasure of subtle length.
“These awards, which come on top of the distinctions we received this year at the Decanter World Wine Awards, are also for us the recognition of the work we put in every day to produce champagnes of excellence,” emphasizes Nicolas Dubois, owner of Domaines Jeeper.
