After Tim Burton, who will deliver his own interpretation of the wonderful world of Alice on April 7, it is the turn of cosmetics to flirt with the kingdom of the Queen of Hearts.
The king of nail polish O.P.I had already launched a limited edition range of glittery Alice in Wonderland nail polish, now it’s Paul & Joe’s turn (cosmetics) to borrow Lewis Carroll’s muse for a collection of lip balms.
As usual, Paul & Joe puts everything on the packaging, and we can say that the challenge is fully met. A whole panoply worthy of a doll’s dinette with the balm declined in various forms. In tube, in pallet, in stick, these retro boxes with the effigy of an Alice more known because it is that of Walt Disney, with its blue dress and its small white apron.
The tardy rabbit is also part of the story, as is the hookah-smoking caterpillar, and the theme of playing cards, which are a must when entering Alice’s world.
Alice may have needed a “Drink me” on her vial, but a “Make up” will not be necessary for us to acquire these wonders.
