To celebrate the 65th anniversary of the 2CV Fourgonnette and the 20th anniversary of the Berlingo, Citroën decided to combine the two vehicles into a customized mini-fleet for Colette, the famous store at 213 rue Saint Honoré in Paris. This collaboration between the two French brands, combining their taste for novelty and difference, gives rise to unique vehicles:
– The timeless codes of the minivan are there, with the corrugated sheet effect for the Berlingo. The converted vehicle was chosen in an electric version to travel around Paris and make deliveries to the concept store throughout the operation.
– The blue color, the store’s signature, is adopted by the Citroën logo, which gets a retro look for the occasion. In a nod to the past, Colette also sports a vintage logo. It is the artist Steve Pitocco who signs the realization with a technique of hand painting in the tradition of the first utilities.
– The reinterpretation of the two vehicles is the work of Citroën’s styling department, whose director, Alexandre Malval, has taken care of every detail of the “old to new” transformation for the 2CV Fourgonnette and “new to old “* for the Berlingo.
The pioneer of minivans and the current market leader in Europe are brought together in a mini-fleet to be discovered until the end of April:
– The electric Berlingo, on delivery for colette.
– The 2CV van, positioned in front of the store at 213 rue Saint Honoré in Paris.
– On the social networks of both brands who also share a hashtag: #2CVcolette.
This double anniversary was orchestrated with the help of the agency L’Ecurie.
