Ten years after the introduction of the original model, Porsche marks a new era in the history of the Macan by unveiling its second, fully-electrified generation. The launch, which took place in Singapore, reaffirms Porsche’s commitment to innovation and sustainability, while preserving the brand’s characteristic sporting essence and luxury. The new electric Macan embodies a significant advance in the SUV segment, combining expressive design, outstanding performance, optimal range, and unrivalled everyday comfort.
Breathtaking Electrical Performance
The electric Macan is equipped with permanent magnet (PSM) synchronous motors on the front and rear axles, ensuring remarkable efficiency and power. With up to 639 hp (470 kW) for the Macan Turbo and maximum torque of up to 1,130 Nm, this electric SUV promises blistering acceleration, from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds for the Turbo, and top speeds of up to 260 km/h.
Cutting-edge technology and extended autonomy
The heart of this innovation lies in the new Premium Platform Electric (PPE) with its 800 V architecture, enabling ultra-fast recharging. The 100 kWh battery ensures an impressive range of up to 613 km in the WLTP combined cycle for the Macan 4. Energy recovery and advanced recharging technology guarantee maximum efficiency and practicality for uncompromising daily use and long-distance travel.
Iconic Design and Sportiness Reinvented
The design of the electric Macan faithfully respects Porsche’s DNA, while incorporating innovations specific to electric vehicles. Its sporty proportions, coupled with sharp coupé lines, underline the vehicle’s dynamic character and elegance. New wheels of up to 22 inches, a longer wheelbase and reduced overhangs contribute to its imposing silhouette and muscular appearance.
Luxurious, Connected Interior
The interior of the electric Macan offers an immersive experience with its latest-generation display and control concept. Up to three screens, including a curved 12.6-inch instrument cluster, offer intuitive interaction and unprecedented connectivity. The infotainment system, based on Android Automotive OS, and the head-up display with augmented reality, are further innovations that set the new standard for the Porsche driving experience.
