To celebrate Mother’s Day with dignity, the pretty Champagne House of the Marne Valley invites you to discover its sublime rosé cuvée, fruity and elegant.
Founder of the eponymous House, Louis Eugène Pannier has always been a true visionary and daring ambassador of champagne. Since then, the company has continued to develop, with only one credo: quality. The know-how of the blending is distinguished by the admirable palette available to the Pannier House. Indeed, the House is supplied by numerous winegrowers, in the best plots of the Crus. The three traditional grape varieties of the Champagne region thus play the score of balance. Pannier’s style is assertive, embodying power, elegance and fruitiness.
1985 marks the year of the first vintage of the prestige cuvee of Pannier Champagnes. Egérie was born, the result of a blend of 80% pinot noir and 20% chardonnay. The Rosé known as “de Saignée” is obtained thanks to the contact time between the juice and the skins of black berries, which bring their color and flesh. The color of this wine, Indian pink tending to the delicate salmon, offers a beautiful brilliance and intensity. As for the nose, it already embodies the balanced power of the House. With aromas of strawberry and raspberry, as well as floral notes, it gives off a nice greedy fruitiness that then continues into a fleshy mouth. A perfect balance between the generous impression in the mouth and the delicate hemming of the matter, with a lot of freshness. A vintage under the sign of elegance, to celebrate the Mother’s Day hedonists. This high-flying Rosé champagne will go perfectly with a chic aperitif, a salmon carpaccio, a duck or figs or a fruit dessert.
L’Egérie rosé is sold in the best wine shops for 69,70 €.
