After launching Brit Rhythm for men in September 2013, Burberry is now releasing its brand new fragrance for women: Burberry Brit Rhythm. English actress and model Suki Waterhouse is the face of the fragrance. For the campaign, she poses alongside musician George Barnett, of the band These New Puritans.

This fragrance combines femininity and rock and roll. It brings together classic and unexpected notes in a very flowery fragrance. There are hints of British lavender, orange blossom and a base of vetiver. An intoxicating smoky-pink fragrance for a sensual, feminine scent.

Inspired by the fragrance, a make-up look was created by Burberry Make-Up consultant Wendy Rowe, under the direction of Burberry Creative Director Christopher Bailey. This make-up look offers a naturally smokey look with skin warmed by a subtle glow. A capsule collection of Brit ready-to-wear and accessories was also created for the occasion.

Burberry, whose global campaign kicks off this Tuesday, January 28, continues to demonstrate the brand’s unique relationship between fashion, beauty and the digital worlds. For technological innovation is at the heart of the Burberry Brit Rhythm campaign:

– On Burberry.com, women can pre-order scented tattoos in the shape of the perfume bottle. They can also register for a chance to win 2 VIP passes to a Burberry live event in Shanghai.

– Burberry fans and followers will enjoy a unique in-store experience for the first time. By typing “thisisbrit.com”, or scanning a QR code on their smartphones, users will have access to unique Brit Rhythm digital content through an immersive panoramic experience.

– Finally, fans can capture and share exclusive images on social networks with “#THISISBRIT”.

This new fragrance is being given a major global launch. The aim: to bring consumers closer to Burberry through an increasingly important digital link.
