During Art Basel Paris, The Macallan takes over 17 rue Charlot, Paris 3rd arrondissement, this Friday 23 and Saturday 24 October 2026. Booking is compulsory, and only these two days remain.
The listening bar was born in Japan around high fidelity: people come for the quality of listening, and conversation comes after the record. By borrowing this model, the House The Macallan places the tasting in a room where sound is designed on a par with the glass. The venue is designed with the studio We Are Ona and is called The Macallan in Residence. It is presented as the House’s first pop-up under this name. Its programme combines whisky, gastronomy and sound design.
Three slots structure the two days. Lunch, from 12 noon to 2 p.m., offers two expressions of The Macallan paired with six small plates, for €135. The tasting, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., brings together two expressions, for €65. Dinner, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., features three expressions and eight small plates, for €195.
The detail of the grid lies in these numbers: the afternoon tasting and the lunch each serve two expressions. The third glass appears only at dinner, which is also the only slot with eight plates.
