The Longevity Residence: luxury reinvented as self-care

Over the course of the Fashion Weeks, between the shows, the meetings and the events that follow one another relentlessly, taking the time to stop and refocus on oneself becomes a genuine privilege. It is around this idea that Pauline Suma, of PS Communication, and Lucas Ménard, of Agence Plume, conceived The Longevity Residence, a new high-end wellness space concept. Inaugurated in New York in September 2026, the project offers an alternative to the fashion industry’s traditional event formats. From 11 to 14 September, a two-bedroom suite at the Mandarin Oriental New York, with panoramic views of Central Park, was transformed into a private retreat dedicated to beauty, health and longevity. Fashion professionals were thus able to give themselves a pause to recharge in the midst of a particularly busy schedule.

Far from conventional presentations, The Longevity Residence was designed as a destination in its own right, inviting a true immersion in the world of wellness. Its approach rests on personalisation, the discovery of specialised know-how and the creation of a setting conducive to privileged exchanges. Each partner took over the premises with its own universe, offering individualised treatments and experiences designed to meet each guest’s expectations. In beauty, Swan Beauty offered skin analyses with a before-and-after assessment of the treatments, while Christina Cosmetics showcased personalised facial care protocols. Nooance imagined a space dedicated to LED masks and a collagen bar, while Essie Nail’s Bar celebrated the art of the manicure and nail art.

The experience also extended to recovery practices and a more mindful approach to everyday life. Sage + Sound offered lymphatic drainage and Reiki sessions accompanied by the vibrations of crystal bowls. Yumé completed the journey with a matcha bar and experiences around functional nutrition and wellbeing. Through this diversity of approaches, the founders intend to stress that taking care of oneself is not limited to cosmetic rituals, but is part of a more global vision of beauty, vitality and quality of life.

Intimacy, the quality of exchanges and the individual experience occupy a central place in the concept. Guests include editors from international media, creatives, entrepreneurs, VIP clients and personalities from privileged circles. Rather than simply discovering new products, they are invited to experience their benefits and to explore approaches focused on long-term wellbeing. The Longevity Residence thus reflects a renewed conception of luxury, where value no longer lies solely in exclusivity, but also in the quality of the experience lived. After this first edition, organised during New York Fashion Week, its creators wish to develop the concept in other major fashion capitals. The Longevity Residence thus sketches a new way of taking a pause at the heart of the Fashion Weeks whirlwind, bringing together aesthetics, regeneration and the aspiration to a more conscious art of living.
