The 5.5 designers, known for their impertinence, have embarked on a series of hijackings of the iconic CAMPARI bottle in an original program entitled “Ceci n’est pas une bouteille”. Reinterpretations of the mythical bottle, revisited through objects that each, in their own way, sublimate the moment of tasting Campari Tonic. A collection in the making that is fully in line with their approach as designers to enhance everyday objects with mischief and simplicity, and that underpins the brand’s commitment to the world of design.

CAMPARI, THE ITALIAN BITTER WITH THE INTENSE RED COLOR, CONTINUES ITS COLLABORATION WITH THE 5-5 COLLECTIVE STUDIO WITH A NEW COLLECTOR THAT ILLUSTRATES THE BRAND’S ANNUAL RENDEZVOUS WITH DESIGN. The story begins in 2017, with a first bottle made of “double-walled” borosilicate glass that breaks down to reveal a set of two glasses and a decanter ideal for enjoying Campari Tonic. No need for a tray to carry the glasses to the table, just one hand is enough! The first box set initiated by France is born and the series of hijacked bottles is set in motion. In 2018, the 5.5 are back in the art of détournement with a second edition that unveils a lamp, with graphic lines, inspired by the silhouette of the CAMPARI bottle. A luminous object, for hanging or standing, that diffuses an intense red glow, for a tasting experience totally immersed in the iconic color of Italian bitter. This lamp, already a collector’s item, is produced in a limited edition and sold in a box alongside the bottle.

“For this second edition, we wanted to revisit the bottle as an object that would amplify the CAMPARI tasting experience. We wanted to offer an intense light that would awaken the senses and create an atmosphere conducive to a tasting experience at the heart of the bitter. The result is a lamp with graphic lines and an original recipe for Campari Tonic, alla luce rossa! To be enjoyed by red light. – COFFRET COLLECTOR DESIGN BY 5.5 COFFRET COLLECTOR DESIGN BY 5.5 Located in the heart of the Marais district, Fleux has been the benchmark Parisian concept store since its creation in 2005.
