Thémaé is a Parisian spa that only offers products made from… tea! We’re all familiar with the virtues of the tea we drink, so why not put tea in our cosmetics to fill up our skin with antioxidants?
I tested the LOMI-MAE massage at the Thémaé spa, here is its short description:
This massage alternates very gentle, enveloping movements with deeper, more invigorating techniques, reproducing the movements of the ocean. Body and mind are completely soothed and revitalized.
Well, this message was a nice surprise, it’s pretty crazy but the movement of the ocean, the movement of the waves, was perfectly reproduced by the forearms of the practitioner (Coraline, whom I recommend). The sensation is really very restful and relaxing, very different from other massages I’ve tried.
The LOMI-MAE massage begins with a foot treatment: hot water, scrub, foot massage.
It’s really nice to start your moment of relaxation this way. The products are also very pleasant (there’s a compact vanilla body oil that’s divine!).
