Inspired by Clairvaux, Cistercian purity in a generous natural setting
“Cuvée CLAREVALLIS (the Latin name for the abbey of Clairvaux, built by Saint Bernard) comes from grapes grown organically on the Urville hillside, which was already planted in Cistercian times. Clarevallis is the expression of the landscape and land that man has nurtured since the 12th century.

We were able to taste this exceptional wine and fall under the spell of its complexity.
A (monkish, dare we say it?) white-gold color, very fine, persistent mousse.
Notes of elderberry and violet. Chalky minerality rounded out by Pinot pulp. Tension on the palate, balanced by a discreet dosage of pretty bitters.
Pinot Noir 75%
Pinot Meunier 10% (Pinot Meunier)
10% Chardonnay
White True 5%
Champagne Drappier – Rue des vignes, 10200 URVILLE
