Rhum Fest Paris returns in April 2018

For the fifth year running, RHUM FEST PARIS, the must-attend rum event, takes over the Parc Floral de Vincennes from April 7 to 9, with an even larger exhibition area to celebrate rum’s entry into its mature phase.

The 2017 edition welcomed 45 exhibitors, 40 animation sessions, 2500 individual visitors and 2800 professionals. This year, the trend remains the same: to prioritize the comfort and fluidity of visitors, in order to give them an experience in the best conditions and offer them optimal tasting, by limiting the number of entrances. With this in mind, an entire hall will be dedicated to welcoming visitors, exhibitors and journalists.
On the professional side, the organizers are counting on the presence of key accounts (winery chains and wholesalers) and in particular modern distribution (GD and Cash & Carry) to increase the show’s influence via digital networks and internationally.
This year’s theme pays tribute to the emergence of new rum destinations: Vietnam, the United States, Africa – the list grows longer every year… To be continued… A veritable voyage to the heart of Paris, to discover rums from the four corners of the globe, and chat with enthusiasts.

ALWAYS MORE ANIMATIONS
The trend is towards immersive marketing. RHUM FEST PARIS wants to transport its visitors to the islands. The 2018 edition will offer a plunge into the colorful world of rum, through dedicated spaces: the master class room, the animation booths, the Cocktail School or the Bar du Voyageur… Once again this year, the events will be designed by the agencies Forma Bar and Bootleggers …
DIGITAL
In partnership with Rumporter, RHUM FEST PARIS will continue to strengthen its digital offering with:
– Live broadcasts of all master classes on social networks
– Live broadcasts on social networks via the RHUM FEST PARIS and Rumporter Facebook pages
– The Rumporter TV studio for live broadcasts of interviews
Social networks will be fed by a roving camera and Rumporter teams, who will cover RHUM FEST PARIS in its entirety. As a reminder in 2017: 110,000 views on RHUM FEST PARIS and 150,000 views on Rumporter
RESTAURATION
The food and beverage offer is moving upmarket, with a tapas restaurant run by the charismatic David Loyola, of the “Les 2 amis” restaurant in Paris.
AND ALWAYS:
– The Master Class tent
– The Formabar and Bootleggers Central Bar
– The New Releases Bar
– The Rhums of Tomorrow stand
– The entertainment tent
– The “Christian de Montaguère” ephemeral boutique
– The Food Trucks
– The unmissable Rhum Fest Awards (in 2017: 45 professional judges
