Located in the heart of the Montorgueil district, Filakia is a restaurant blending traditional Greek cuisine with French gastronomy.
Drawing on their professional experience, founders Chloé and Benjamin decided to open this neighborhood restaurant in February 2014, breaking with the codes of traditional catering.
The house credo: surprise by offering Street Food with gourmet accents. The star of Filakia? The Suvlaki. This famous Greek sandwich is offered here in a French version and accompanied by homemade fries or lemon candied potatoes.
Since March 1, 2016, Filakia has been partnering with famous French chefs to create ephemeral, never-before-seen Souvlakis. Each of the four chefs successively invited by Filakia during the year will bring their personal touch to create a unique recipe.
Philip Chronopoulos, chef at the Restaurant du Palais Royal, was seduced by the concept and was the first to take up the challenge with brio, as we were able to taste. This Greek chef, now living in France, draws on recipes from his childhood as well as those he discovered working alongside the great French chefs with whom he learned his trade.
Here, he puts his talent at the service of Filakia, offering a Souvlaki garnished with coq au vin-style sot-l’y-laisse, fried onion, cream of carrot and button mushrooms.

The next chef to propose his version of Souvlaki is none other than Cyril Lignac. This lover of traditional bistro cuisine will bring his personal touch to compose an exclusive creation.
