In April 2015, the Paris Marriott Champs Elysees hotel called on beekeeper Nicolas Geant of Beeopic(http://www.beeopic.com/fr/) to install a beehive on the roof of its establishment.

The bees of the“Ruche des Champs” foraged all spring to produce a fine harvest of 25kg at the end of the summer. The five-star establishment was thus able to produce 200 125g pots of honey, used as gifts for guests.

Miel des Champs Elysées” is a honey with refreshing, fruity notes, and Paris guarantees its excellent quality.

This urban beekeeping initiative is in line with Marriott’s environmental policy, which promotes waste sorting and recovery, energy management and voluntary carbon offsetting, as well as the protection of biodiversity.
