Jalil Lespert’s biopic of Yves Saint Laurent, starring Pierre Niney, will (finally) be released on January 8. We won’t be repeating the case of two films on the same theme, as Saint Laurent will also be played by Gaspard Ulliel in an area production.
Jalil Lespert’s film will be based on YSL’s early years, from his appointment as head of Dior at the age of 21 to the creation of his own fashion house with the help of Pierre Bergé.
Today the trailer for the film has been posted online, and we can’t wait for January 8th!
