To pay tribute to the limited edition 2020 Hennessy Very Special PAR Faith XLVII, the House of Hennessy unveils two cocktail creations co-signed with the artist.

True to her artistic vision, the Los Angeles-based South African artist has worked with Hennessy’s mixologists to come up with two new creations in her image: HENNESSY IMPRINT & HENNESSY SEASONS.

These two cocktails illustrate his desire to highlight nature and the cycle of the seasons, while integrating them into an urban tasting environment in an unexpected way.

Hennessy Very Special has a unique, timeless style. It is composed of a blend of carefully selected eaux-de-vie whose aromas make this cognac a benchmark in the art of blending.

COCKTAIL HENNESSY IMPRINT

Faith XLVII’s signature cocktail, Hennessy Imprint reflects the multi-faceted nature of its collaboration with Hennessy Very Special. This fresh, singular combination combines the bittersweet taste of eucalyptus with the acidity of lime and the floral, slightly bitter notes of jasmine tea.

Ingredients 4 cl Hennessy Very Special 2 cl eucalyptus syrup 2 cl fresh lime juice 3 cl jasmine tea Tonic Mix all ingredients with ice. Strain into an ice-filled Collins glass and add tonic. Add eucalyptus and edible flowers for decoration.

HENNESSY SEASONS COCKTAIL

Imagined especially for cooler weather, the Hennessy Seasons cocktail brings out aromas like cardamom (in bloom in spring), Thai lime leaves (in bloom in autumn) and the earthy, woody accents of Peychaud’s Bitters gentian root.

Ingredients 5cl Hennessy Very Special 1cl cane sugar syrup 3 drops Peychaud™ Bitters 1 dash cardamom bitter 3 combava leaves Squeeze two Thai lime leaves into a shaker and add the remaining ingredients and ice. Shake to chill. Strain into a glass with a large ice cube. Garnish with the last Thai lime leaf (knock before placing on ice).
