On November 12, 2026, at 8:00 p.m., the Palais des Congrès in Paris will host “JJ Annaud Ciné-Symphony,” a show dedicated to the filmmaker’s world. Jean-Jacques Annaud will be on stage to share his creative memories.
The program combines film clips with music performed live by an orchestra. The show is structured around five themes: water, earth, air, fire, and love.
The audience will be treated to scenes from *Quest for Fire*, *The Name of the Rose*, *Stalingrad*, *The Bear*, *The Lover*, *Seven Years in Tibet*, *Black Gold*, *Two Brothers*, *The Last Wolf *, and *Notre-Dame on Fire*. The music of John Williams, James Horner, Philippe Sarde, and Gabriel Yared will be featured.
Marc Di Domenico serves as artistic director. Divided into two 60-minute parts, the project offers a reinterpretation of Annaud’s work through sound, imagery, and the director’s presence.
