At the Trianon, on 24 September 2026, Maison Close did not present a collection in the usual form of a fashion show. The house chose ten tableaux, blending lingerie, dance and music, to mark its twentieth anniversary and unveil the name Scandale. The change of name is thus accompanied by a change of stage: the garment moves with the bodies, the choreography and the light.
The artistic direction of the show was by Savary & Zaffuto. Élodie Frégé hosted the evening, while Malou Linders and Mimi signed the choreography. These credits matter: they show that the show was conceived as a collective production, with its performers and its trades, rather than as a mere succession of silhouettes.
The house places this transformation in a history that began in 2006. Scandale keeps Maison Close’s interest in the border between lingerie and fashion, but gives that border a more openly theatrical language. The risk of such a staging would be to let the image absorb the object. What the event makes visible, on the contrary, is the need to think cut, attitude and movement together.
For a brand that claims desire as the material of creation, the name Scandale is not a conclusion. It commits what follows: it remains to be seen how this stage energy will translate into the pieces and their longevity.
