Olympia’s legendary dressing rooms, where so many stories, confidences and encounters take place, are now renovated and ready to welcome the 300 or so shows that take place in the famous music hall every year. Thanks to the talents of Clémence Fenninger and Sylvia Fabbian, decorators and founders of Maow Studio, and Pierre Bonnefille, Master of Art whose work is recognized the world over, artists will find a veritable cocoon in the heart of the Olympia.
The Olympia’s dressing rooms welcome hundreds of French and international artists, from variety to rock, from up-and-comers to global stars. A place to prepare, to recharge, to entertain, a true landmark, each artist makes his or her dressing room his or her own.
The work of the decorators is sublimated by the immense calligraphic mural by Maitre d’Art Pierre Bonnefille in the largest of the dressing rooms. Unique and intense, this work made of pigments and mineral elements gives a real soul to the place. Inspired by lyrics and snatches of song superimposed on one another, the engraved material creates an imaginary imprint.
The pieces were carefully selected from CASAMILANO and MAXALTO. Every detail of the dressing rooms was rethought, from the camouflaged closet and fridge, to the textured carpet echoing the graphic design of the wall composition, to a dressing table redesigned to accommodate custom-made storage units. Clémence Fenninger, Sylvia Fabbian and Pierre Bonnefille brought all their know-how and inspiration to the design of these dressing rooms, which will be the setting for new encounters and new stories.
