Swiss watchmaker Frédérique Constant unveils its new ambassador for France: Michelin-starred chef Thibault Sombardier, Top Chef 2014 grand finalist. This partnership is the alliance of two worlds with common ideas: the transmission of a heritage, the quest for extreme precision and technical and aesthetic expertise. These are the watchwords of this new collaboration.

A starred chef

Thibault Sombardier, 32, a native of Lyon, a city of reference in French gastronomy, dreamed of becoming a chef from an early age. After studying at the Ecole Hôtelière, he went on to work with top chefs such as Marc Meneau, Bernard Constantin and Alain Dutournier. A Michelin-starred chef at Restaurant Antoine (75016 Paris) since 2013, in 2016 he was awarded the prize for Best Bistro in Paris by the Guide Lebey for his brand-new, original Mensae concept . It’s in this bistro, whose philosophy is ” gastronomy for all “, that he teams up with Kevin D’Andréas, Top Chef 2015 finalist, to create unrivalled bistronomic recipes.

At the crossroads of excellence

Thibault Sombardier performs in the culinary arts, just as Frédérique Constant does in watchmaking, designing timepieces that are meticulous in every detail. True transmitters of emotion, their creations are full of tradition and inventiveness, with an authentic spirit.
