Florian Eude, Molitor’s Pastry Chef, offers an exotic, tasty and gourmet Yule log. Attached to Molitor’s heritage, he drew inspiration from its famous Rotonde, a listed historic monument, and the Art Deco era.

CHRISTMAS AT MOLITOR BETWEEN EXOTICISM AND ART DECO…

A log with pronounced flavors: coconut & lemongrass, seasoned with vanilla. On a base of crispy puffed rice: coconut cookie, lemongrass cream, vanilla-lemongrass mousse and coconut chantilly balls are superimposed for an explosion of exotic flavors. A caramel glaze completes the picture. A majestic sugar canopy representing the Molitor Rotunda, resolutely Art Deco, sublimates the log, while paying a vibrant tribute to Lucien Pollet, architect of this institution that saw the light of day in 1929. The Molitor log for 2017 is a unique piece, an amalgam of art and craftsmanship, in the image of Art Deco buildings.
