Redesigned silhouette in an even sportier and more muscular style, new optimized 6-liter W12 TSI engine, on-board equipment incorporating the latest technologies, refined hand-crafted interior: with the third-generation Continental GT, presented at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show, Bentley redefines the quintessence of Grand Tourism by marrying luxury and performance more than ever. Breitling for Bentley is marking the occasion by launching a limited edition reflecting the full spirit of this new road-going champion. The ultra-light, ultra-strong case is made from Breitlight®, a high-tech material exclusive to Breitling, distinguished by its unrivalled qualities (scratch, tensile and corrosion resistance, non-magnetism, thermal stability, anti-allergic properties). Its slightly marbled black hue is adorned with bluish reflections reminiscent of Bentley’s “Dark Sapphire” body color. The dial features a diamond pattern, a motif introduced on the new Continental GT in several areas of the interior and controls. The exceptional motorization is provided by a Manufacture Calibre B06 officially chronometer-certified (COSC). This movement, entirely designed and manufactured in the Breitling Chronométrie workshops, is distinguished by its ingenious “30-second chronograph” system, inspired by a Breitling patent from 1926, with a central hand that completes one revolution of the dial in half a minute – ensuring a highly accurate reading of timed times to 1/8th of a second. This world-exclusive feature is highlighted on the black dial by the inscription “30 seconds chronograph” and the blue measurement scale, echoing the nuances of the case. To accompany long-distance exploits with comfort and style, the Bentley GT “Dark Sapphire” Edition is fitted with a rubber strap created especially for this model and adorned with the same diamond pattern as the dial – all completed with a push-piece folding clasp.
