For the Autumn Winter 2017 season, Moreau Paris is launching a new line that takes the house’s famous print and applies it to jacquard fabric bags. After months of study, the French house, founded in Paris in 1882, is delighted to launch its new creations of ultra-light, hard-wearing bags.
Moreau Paris presents the “Célestin” bag, which revisits and reinterprets the codes of the iconic “Vincennes” model, with its interior in the house’s exclusive blue. All models are treated with a special finish to enhance the bags’ durability and protect them from the elements.
“We wanted to develop our offer to better satisfy our customers, so we created a more wearable and ultra-resistant model, all the while being much lighter. We found in the archives that Moreau Paris had made trunks covered in “jacquard” and we thought it would be the ideal material, and perfectly in line with the DNA of our house, which gives priority to quality and craftsmanship” Fédor Georges Savchenko, Artistic Director.
True to the spirit of Moreau Paris, each bag in the collection can be customized with initials, specific motifs on request or hand-painted color stripes.
The collection, with a single print color, is available in stores and ranges from €845 to €1,570, depending on size and model.
