The prestigious Alpes Hôtel du Pralong in Courchevel 1850, after three years of renovation under the management of the Dokhan Luxury Hotels group, is ready to welcome guests in a completely renewed setting. The hotel will open its doors on December 10, 2023, revealing 65 renovated rooms and suites, as well as revamped restaurants and spa. Decoration has been entrusted to the talented Claudia Ravnbo, the spa to the Kos Paris brand and gastronomy to chef Flora Mikula.
A Dream Setting in the Alps
Ideally located in the heart of the 3 Vallées ski area, the Alpes Hôtel du Pralong offers direct access to the ski slopes. Guests can enjoy a ski-in, ski-out service, complemented by a range of luxury services: a Veuve Clicquot champagne bar, a panoramic terrace, a Kids Club area, a Kos Paris spa, and a Ski Room designed by Bernard Orcel.
Renovation inspired by Nordic countries
The renovation was entrusted to Claudia Ravnbo, whose work is inspired by mountain and ski cultures. The interiors combine luxury and comfort, with rare materials, noble fabrics and raw wood. The green and ecru color palette harmonizes the space with the surrounding nature, and each room offers a magnificent view of the sun-drenched mountains or the slopes.
Refined Gastronomy by Flora Mikula
Chef Flora Mikula brings her personal touch to the hotel’s various dining areas. The main restaurant, the Musher, and the Grill, with its panoramic terrace, offer typical French bourgeois cuisine. Menus include traditional mountain dishes and original creations, such as sweet potato curry or Lafayette’s “pâté en croûte”.
Relaxation and well-being at Spa Kos Paris
The hotel spa, managed by Kos Paris, offers a full range of treatments and therapies. Guests can relax in the sauna, hammam and jacuzzi, or enjoy a fitness session in the state-of-the-art gym. The hotel’s indoor pool adds an extra touch of luxury to the relaxation experience.
A place rich in history and culture
The Alpes Hôtel du Pralong is not just a luxury hotel, it’s also a place steeped in history and culture. This private mansion, once frequented by Marquis and General Lafayette, was built in 1728 and is a listed historic monument.
