The House of Boucheron, renowned for its fine jewelry heritage, presents “The Power of Couture”, its revolutionary collection for 2024. Under the creative direction of Claire Choisne, the collection pays tribute to the couture heritage of Frédéric Boucheron, while introducing a modern and innovative vision.

The collection is distinguished by the use of medals, buttons, embroidery and aiguillettes, traditional elements of pageantry, metamorphosed here using rock crystal and diamonds. This virtuoso work creates 24 pieces of haute joaillerie that redefine couture, paving the way for a new interpretation of luxury.

Boucheron’s history, rooted in couture since the House’s origins, is beautifully woven into each creation. Inspired by formal wear, Claire Choisne offers pieces that combine the ornamental and the practical, reflecting a blend of straightforwardness and sophistication. The collection is conceived as a “precious kit”, offering unprecedented flexibility and freedom of style.

The collection makes judicious use of materials such as rock crystal and diamonds, which lend visual lightness while toning down the baroque of the original gilded decorations. The challenge lay in transforming rigid materials into adornments as supple as the rarest silk fabrics.

Key pieces in the collection include necklaces, epaulettes, bows and collars, each offering a unique interpretation of elegance and creativity. The epaulettes, for example, are inspired by a 1902 tiara and can be transformed into bracelets, while the bows offer a graphic reinterpretation of grosgrain.

With “The Power of Couture”, Boucheron doesn’t just create jewelry; it redefines the boundaries of high jewelry and fashion, offering pieces that transcend material constraints to magnify the substance and diversity of styles.
