Château l’Isle Fort has just unveiled its Cuvée Précieuse, an exceptional wine made from selected plots within its AOC Bordeaux Supérieur vineyards. Produced with respect for the terroir, this great wine expresses all the aromatic complexity conferred by a preserved natural environment.
A land of remarkable biodiversity
The Château l’Isle Fort vineyard extends over 9 hectares in a natural setting that has been protected for 600 years. Alternating vineyards, meadows, forests and waterways, this environmental mosaic forms a rich ecosystem.
Cuvée Précieuse comes from 2 hectares of particularly high-quality gravelly and clay-limestone soils. South-facing, they benefit from optimum sunshine to bring out all the grape’s aromas.
High-precision parcel-based vinification
Composed of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, each parcel is vinified separately, according to its respective maturity. This approach preserves the integrity of the terroir in the wine.
Aged 12 to 14 months in barrel, Cuvée Précieuse reveals silky tannins and aromatic complexity. Each vintage is produced in just 6000 numbered bottles, for an expression of great purity.
With this exceptional cuvée, Château l’Isle Fort reveals its unique potential in AOC Bordeaux Supérieur. A racy wine to be savored or kept to see its nuances express themselves over the years.
