The hotel Le Meuricea member of the Dorchester Collection, has continued its renovations, unveiling 20 new rooms and suites this summer. With the second lockdown preventing many travelers from visiting the City of Light, the management of Le Meurice is delighted to finally welcome its guests and show them around its new apartments.

The rooms and suites are once again signed by the design trio Charles Jouffre, Margaux Lally and Luc Berger to whom Le Meurice had already entrusted the first renovations in 2019. The result is a masterful blend of modernitywith bright, uncluttered spaces, and the classic classic 18th-century style.

A continuation of the first renovations, the garden spirit is still there, but with the addition of new inspirations from artists. Signature apartments have been created in reference to the creative people who have experienced the hotel: the writers and composers Tchaikovsky, Jean Cocteau, Edmond Rostandand French dancer Cléo de Mérode. Through panels of paintings, archive photos and sketches, guests are immersed in the heart of the artistic Paris that has shaped Le Meurice for over a century.

Once again, the young designers have called on exceptional craftsmen to make each space unique: stained-glass windows by Ateliers Duchemin, wallpapers by Maison de Gournay and lighting fixtures by Cristallerie Saint-Louis add a touch of brightness and notes of contemporary contemporary while respecting the hotel’s heritage. Last but not least, the integration of new technology in every apartment ensures comfort and well-being.
