Today, in a swirl of rose petals, the couturier sublimates the bouquet of white flowers that have become his signature scent. And in the most feminine of colors, he coats his emblematic first fragrance. A Rose, Couture … of course.
A Flower
A dazzling expression of Elie Saab’s aesthetic, Rose Couture evokes a theme dear to his heart: flowers. Virtuoso creations of the couturier’s art, they blossom each season in his collections, embroidered with pearls as limpid as dew, sculpted in tulle or taffeta, chiseled into petals of quivering chiffon.
One color
In this fabulous garden of his imagination, the great couturier most readily borrows his rich palette of nuances from the rose. Lips, cheeks, petals… From the most passionate crimson to the most tender blush, fuchsia or incarnate, isn’t pink the color that links the flesh of flowers to that of women? So, in addition to borrowing its fragrance from the flower, Rose Couture boldly translates the hue of its petals into olfactory notes.
Fragility
Perfumer Francis Kurkdjian has plucked this couture rose from the heart of Elie Saab Le Parfum, where Rose Honey illuminates radiant orange blossom. Magnified and sophisticated in this new eau de toilette, the rose asserts itself with even greater radiance.
As soon as it takes flight, it mingles with the freshness of Peony in a breath of silky petals. Then this delicious dew becomes more melt-in-your-mouth, exquisite rose nectar rounded with fruity facets and softened with a hint of Vanilla. An addictive accord carried by the breeze of light Jasmine, diaphanous as silk chiffon. 
A sumptuous woody base underpins this ethereal composition, like a tightly grained fabric structuring the fluidity of a sheath. The voluptuous satin of Sandalwood.
And Patchouli, a dark velvet that, by contrast, enhances the freshness of these radiant floral fabrics.
A showcase
Rose couture is tinted a delicate shade of pastel pink, a hue echoed by the case housing its iconic faceted bottle. Embossed with a subtle rose motif, the case evokes the flowers that bloom in the Couturier’s sumptuous creations.
A new muse.
It’s the sublime Toni Garrn who lends Rose Couture her spontaneous, perfectly assumed femininity. Elie Saab’s favorite model, the young German supermodel also became the face of the new Elie Saab Le Parfum campaign in 2016.
For Rose Couture, Toni Garrn wears a unique creation, specially designed for the image of the new eau de toilette. A flight of silk with an extraordinary train, the floral motif on a pastel pink background embodies the radiant trail of the new fragrance.
Sumptuous, bewitching, glamorous, marvelous, you’ll have to be patient to find the superlative that best describes this exceptional fragrance.
