Support the Winter Time 2015 Tombola, online now!

At the initiative of the Comité du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, the “Winter Time 2015” evening was held on November 26, 2015.

For the inauguration of the Christmas illuminations, and the launch of its prestigious WinterTime 2015 Tombola, the Comité du Faubourg Saint-Honoré wanted to join forces this year with two associations: “Les Toiles Enchantées” and “Paris Aide aux Victimes”.

The Event

The Illuminations were launched in the presence of Pascal Elbé, Ambassador of the Comité du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, Amanda Sthers, godmother of the association Les Toiles Enchantées, Benjamin Cymerman, President of the Comité, the mayor of the 8th arrondissement, Jeanne d’Hauteserre, Gisèle Tsobanian, President of Les Toiles Enchantées, Claude Lienhard, President of Paris Aide aux Victimes, and numerous personalities, including Sandrine Quétier, Laurie Cholewa, chef Jean-François Piège, and Laetitia Fourcade. The event kicked off at 7pm, in front of the Hôtel Le Bristol Paris.

The Faubourg Saint-Honoré was decked out in lights to celebrate the end-of-year festivities. This year, a dozen Baccarat crystal chandeliers were placed along the streets, creating an exceptional route dotted with a thousand lights.

The Tombola Winter Time 2015

To mark the occasion, the Comité du Faubourg Saint-Honoré is organizing a prestigious Tombola, with all proceeds going to two associations: “Les Toiles Enchantées” and “Paris Aide aux Victimes”.
Each Maison du Comité du Faubourg Saint-Honoré has donated an exceptional prize, which can be viewed on the event’s dedicated website: www.wintertime2015.com. Until January 31, participants in the Tombola can buy a ticket worth €10 and hope to win one of these sumptuous gifts.

The raffle draw will take place in early February 2015.

Event sponsors

Pascal Elbé honored us with his presence to kick off the Christmas illuminations. This multi-talented actor has taken on the role of Ambassador for the Committee this year, a role to which he brings his charm and elegance.

Starring alongside Alexandra Lamy in TF1’s new series, Une chance de trop, he returned to directing with his second film, Je compte sur vous, starring Julie Gayet, Vincent Elbaz and Zabou Breitman.

Amanda Sthers, writer, director and children’s author, godmother of the Les Toiles Enchantées association, wanted to lend her full support to the Winter Time 2015 Tombola operation.

In 2014, she adapted Les Terres Saintes, which will be brought to the screen by Canadian director Louise Archambault(Gabrielle) next fall.

Madame will be her second feature film as director, and will be shot in 2016 with Patrick Bruel.

Associations

The “Les Toiles Enchantées” association provides support in hospitals for sick children and in specialized establishments for handicapped teenagers, bringing them dreams through screenings of films.

“Paris Aide aux Victimes (PAV) is a Paris-based victims’ aid association founded in 1989. Its mission is to provide guidance, listening, reception and psychological support to all victims of criminal offenses, accidents and collective disasters in Paris.

At present, a team of psychologists and legal experts is on hand to provide victims of the attacks with psychological support, information on their rights and assistance with legal procedures.

It’s support that requires taking the time to listen to people and respond to their needs. Alleviating their suffering only comes at the price of collective solidarity.
