For his Prêt-à-porter Femme Spring/Summer 2014 collection, Belgian designer Jean Paul Lespagnard invited us to take part in his presentation. A concept appreciated by all, the contact with the models parading around us was a privileged moment both to share and to see the pieces presented up close. A convivial moment, with rhythmic music playing in the background.
Jean Paul Lespagnard’s offbeat, punchy inspiration comes from elsewhere. Like a snappy American woman traveling in Mexico, she mixes and matches two lifestyles, two atmospheres.
Prints are over, like the dollar bill revisited, or a colorful checkerboard.
Colors are vivid, such as green, purple, white or black; accessories bring the real imprint of these inspirations.

Rhinestone sandals, shell-shaped headphones and “can” belts plunge us into the eccentric world of Jean Paul Lespagnard.
