A cuvée that sings the praises of Burgundy
Nestled in the heart of the Mâconnais region, in the commune of Prissé, the Saint-Véran vines draw their essence from clay-limestone soil. This unique terroir, tinged with minerality, gives birth to exceptional Chardonnays, true ambassadors of Burgundy.
The 2020 vintage, characterized by its warmth, dryness and earliness, was a blessing for these vines carefully cultivated in Organic Agriculture. The harvest, carried out in optimal conditions, produced grapes of rare quality.
Cerço: An eco-responsible approach
Cerço is more than just a name: it embodies a project for 100% eco-designed, collaborative wines. Behind this approach is a team of 25 employees and 14 committed winemakers, all united by a common goal: to produce wines that respect the Earth while being economically viable.
Launched in February 2022, the Cerço range offers a palette of five wines, each reflecting a specific Burgundy appellation. The Cerço adventure doesn’t stop there. From 2021, every wine in the range will be bottled in a container designed for reuse, reinforcing their eco-responsible commitment.
A wine with delicate, ethical notes
When tasted, Saint-Véran 2020 Cerço immediately seduces with its golden color, a symbol of its nobility. Fruity and floral aromas mingle in a refined olfactory dance, giving way to a mouth that’s both full-bodied and fresh, perfectly balanced.
Les Vignerons des Terres Secrètes : Guardians of a tradition
Established in southern Burgundy since 1928, the 120 families of Vignerons des Terres Secrètes are the custodians of a winemaking tradition that has evolved with the times. With 906 hectares of AOC vines, they are the leading producer of AOC Saint-Véran. This unique cooperative winery stands out for its profound respect for the environment and its terroirs, an approach rewarded by the “Vignerons Engagés” label since 2013.
Cerço, symbolizing the virtuous circle and eternal cycle of nature, is the perfect reflection of the commitment of Les Vignerons des Terres Secrètes.
