A perfect match for the continuation of the wonderful friendship between director Claude Lelouch (Palme d’Or winner in 1966) and businessman Benjamin Patou, founder of MOMA GROUP.

CLUB 13, A LEGENDARY VENUE

By taking over the mythical Club 13, Moma Group has moved a step further into the heart of the events and cinema business, continuing to awaken sleeping beauties and turn them into iconic venues, as was the case with the Bus Palladium, then Rasputin and the Arc Paris.
A cult venue if ever there was one, created in 1968 by Claude Lelouch in the wake of the success of the film “Un homme et une femme”, Club 13 has seen all the world’s greatest film artists, from Charlie Chaplin to Orson Welles, from Kubrick to Coppola or Scorsese, come and go for over 50 years…

A luminous cul-de-sac, a discreet entrance, staircases leading to the bar, restaurant and projection rooms. The magic and soul of the place invade us, and we feel privileged to enjoy this intimacy.
Speaking of the leather seats in the two projection rooms, which are very deep and enveloping, Claude Lelouch, a touch provocatively, likes to remind us: “When a film is good, you have to see it in good conditions, and when it’s bad, you have to be comfortable to sleep.”
Everything has been preserved to remain faithful to the comfort and spirit of the master…
As for the exact address – 15 Avenue Hoche – that hasn’t changed either…
God knows if since its creation – we’ve been looking for the entrance to Club 13 (in a nod to its production company “Les Films 13”) at 13… and not 15 Avenue.
While the bar, restaurant and two screening rooms will open to the public in mid-September, Claude Lelouch will keep his offices and editing rooms here. The soul and benevolent eye of the creator still watch over Club 13.

All that remains is to write the next chapter in the beautiful story of friendship between the director and the businessman.

CLUB 13, ART AND MANNERS

Conceived as an exceptional place dedicated to the many possible artistic variations… it was on the imperfect conjugation of “3 major arts of happiness” that Moma Group and Claude Lelouch met and associated.
The art of conviviality… with friendly, family-style cuisine served daily for lunch in the restaurant.
The art of partying, enjoying cocktails every weekend night… and singing, immersed in the simple past of a state-of-the-art, chic and glamorous Karaoke, featuring French chanson!
And the 7th art, of course… with two screening rooms open to the public.

CLUB 13 FOR LIVE MUSIC AND KARAOKE!

Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, it’s party time, with cocktails and sing-alongs, immersed in the simple past of a new-generation karaoke bar, glamorous and offbeat, dedicated to French chanson, from Joe Dassin to Michel Delpech, from Barbara to Niagara…
Miss Galia, as perfect mistress of ceremony, will open the doors of this cult venue at 10pm and close them again at 2am.
She’ll lead the way, like a true master of ceremonies, distilling words and music to orchestrate the karaoke.
Xavier Brunet and Virginie Lefebvre will be at the helm every Thursday evening, to the delight of their friends from the worlds of culture, fashion and cinema.
As soon as the doors open at 10pm, gourmets can nibble on a Nordic or “terroir” plate accompanied by a glass of wine, before indulging body and soul in the
reinterpretation of our favorite French songs.
A piano and an acoustic guitar will allow experienced music lovers to regale the audience with their talents!
Rumour has it that 13 Ambassadors from the worlds of fashion, culture and entertainment will be inviting their friends to become members… to be continued!

CLUB 13, REVISITED AND HIGHLIGHTED BY SARAH LAVOINE

Sarah Lavoine’s multicultural wanderings and her Parisian taste – assertive, refined, demanding and curious about the world – had already caught the eye of Benjamin Patou, who entrusted her with the design of the Pavillon Vendôme in 2011. Then, 3 years later, he asked her to work with him on the creation of the Victoria restaurant, above the Arc Paris.
For the record, as Sarah spontaneously says of Club 13: “I grew up there! I remember one Sunday morning when my father and I went to see E.T. there. I was barely 8 years old”.
Later, she had many lunches there, and really enjoyed her meetings with Claude Lelouch. So, when she presented her beautification project to him at the beginning of the summer, she was really nervous… “I wanted him to like it… and he did!”
She wanted to preserve the soul of the place, the wood panelling, she worked on dimming the lights, played perfectly with the tones of ochre, green and red, to create a cosy, hushed atmosphere thanks to the velvet.
