Seiko is celebrating its 145th anniversary with a new limited-edition King Seiko VANAC, model HKF004. The model pays homage to Seiko Blue, the signature color that first appeared in the 1960s, a period of significant innovation for the brand.

The VANAC, launched in the 1970s and later revived under the King Seiko brand, retains its bold spirit: angular lines, a sporty design, a textured dial, and graphic contrasts. On this anniversary edition, the ring integrated into the dial features a vivid blue that stands out against the silvery-white dial.

The 8L45 caliber powers the watch. This automatic movement beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), features 35 jewels, and offers approximately 72 hours of power reserve. Its stated accuracy is +10 to -5 seconds per day.

The case and bracelet are made of stainless steel. The watch measures 41 mm in diameter and 14.3 mm in thickness, with a box-shaped sapphire crystal, a screw-down transparent case back, a screw-down crown, 10 bar water resistance, and magnetic resistance of 4,800 A/m.

Limited to 800 pieces, this King Seiko VANAC is available at a suggested retail price of 3,400 euros.
