“Elegance” from Maison Camus gets a makeover

To celebrate its 150th anniversary, Camus has given its iconic “Elégance” range a new, sleek design. In existence since 1863, Camus is the only company still independent and 100% family-owned. For 5 generations, it has been passionate about exceptional cognacs. The “Elégance” range, conceived in 2005, has been given a new lease of life, with a minimalist design that breaks away from the usual cognac codes.

The bottles have been redesigned by Cyril Camus, President of the Maison. Precision and refinement are the watchwords for the new lines and labels of the “Elégance” range. The brand’s emblematic elements, such as the Château du Plessis, the family estate, and its cupola, are featured on the new cases. They also feature a bunch of grapes, a reminder of the family’s winegrowing origins. Finally, the iconic Camus clover is engraved in the glass of the new VS and VSOP bottles in the range.

Camus continues to set the standard in cognac. Its particularity is to preserve its old-fashioned know-how while enriching it with innovative and contemporary methods. The new bottles feature a screw cap and a QR code. This code, unique to each decanter, enables goods to be traced to prevent counterfeiting. It also provides consumers with direct access to the Camus website. A way for the brand to strengthen its ties with cognac lovers and connoisseurs. The “Elégance” collection accounted for 86% of group sales in 2012.
