Tariquet presents Classic and Premières Grives in magnum

The Domaine du Tariquet, a century-old house with a touch of rebellion, has always known how to question itself and evolve. With the 2015 vintage, it is introducing new formats for two of its best-known wines. Who can do more can do less, the “Classic” vintage is now available in half-bottle and magnum, screw closure only in both cases. The other historical cuvée of the House, the “Premières Grives”, is now also available in magnum and keeps the traditional corking.
These three new formats have been designed at the request of the House’s “aficionados” who, always very attentive, wish to offer two magnums of charming and convivial white wines at less than 15€ TTC and a half-bottle that is very practical for many occasions. About ten years ago, the Domaine du Tariquet was one of the first to offer its rosé wines in screw cap only. Once again, the Domaine is a forerunner with this same closing method adapted to a magnum of white wine. Very practical, the screw cap allows a better preservation of the freshness so that the Domaine du Tariquet Classic expresses itself fully during its youth, at its optimum.

Domaine du Tariquet Classic

Universal and timeless, the Classic was created over thirty years ago and its success has never waned. Blend of Ugni Blanc (45%), Colombard (35%), Sauvignon (10%) and Gros Manseng (10%). Its style is round and fleshy with aromas that oscillate between citrus and flowers, mango and apricot. Its invigorating and thirst-quenching freshness, its dapper, clean and precise fruit, make it an ideal companion throughout the meal. To be enjoyed with oysters, stuffed crabs, sushi, seasonal salads, duck carpaccio, grilled sea bass or fresh goat cheese…
Vintage 2015 : about 10€ the magnum, 5€ the 75 cl bottle and 3€ the half-bottle at wine shops

Domaine du Tariquet Premières Grives

Created in the 90s, this wine is one of the emblematic vintages of the Domaine du Tariquet. It is made from the Gros Manseng grape variety, an indigenous variety of southwestern France, which can be vinified as dry or sweet wine. A concentrate of flavors, the Premières Grives are the perfect balance between the roundness and the freshness of the fruit. The magnum is an opportunity to extend the pleasure of the aperitif to the dessert. The new packaging of the bottle, launched for the 2015 vintage, is available on the magnum. The label gains in elegance and readability. “First Thrushes”, now written on two lines, and the embossing, enhanced with a chocolate and gold hot foil, underline its personality and refinement. The great finesse of this wine surprises and shakes up the pairings with shrimps in coconut milk, a farm chicken on a spit, a lamb curry, a Pyrenean sheep. The Premières Grives delicacy is a sure bet to accompany a tarte tatin, a mango crumble or a raspberry tiramisu.
Vintage 2015 : about 15€ for a magnum and 8€ for a 75 cl bottle at wine shops
