Since 1981, Mellerio has designed and produced trophies for the prestigious Roland Garros tennis tournament, including the famous Coupe des Mousquetaires.

Goldsmiths transform a simple sheet of silver into a work of art:
The silversmith cuts and coats the silver sheet until it corresponds to the shape of the design and shapes the silhouette of the cup on an exotic wood mandrel.
The founder creates the swan handles and the vine leaf frieze by pouring molten metal into impressions.
The chaser underlines and refines the motifs with a burin
After checking each of the goblet’s component parts, the goldsmith assembles them.
The polisher intervenes only in the last place, to give the cut its shine.
Finally, the Engraver immortalizes the tournament by transferring the name of the winner of the year on the base.
This cut of about fourteen kilos requires more than a hundred hours of work.
