Chalet & Gourmandise

Escape for a few hours to the snowy peaks. Rediscover the warm, intimate atmosphere of traditional chalets. In the depths of winter, share a tasty raclette with friends. Until February 17, Courchevel invites itself to Paris with the Chalet Les Neiges 1850 at the Hôtel Barrière Le Fouquet’s.

As the cold weather, the festive season and the call of the slopes approach, the Hôtel Barrière Le Fouquet’s Paris goes into winter mode. Within the recently renovated establishment, Barrière has built a 20 m2 wooden chalet capable of accommodating up to 8 people on the Joy terrace. Inspired by the Hôtel Barrière Les Neiges Courchevel, Barrière’s newest establishment, this mountain bubble on the world’s most beautiful avenue offers an extraordinary setting for all those nostalgic for the snowy slopes.

Wooden furniture, animal skins, music, furs and Christmas decorations ensure a warm, cocooning atmosphere in this exceptional setting.

For lunch and dinner, Chalet Les Neiges 1850 offers guests a unique menu.

The meal opens with an appetizer and a cocktail imagined by Stéphane Ginouvès, Chef Barman Meilleur Ouvrier de France at Hôtel Barrière Le Fouquet’s Paris, based on Veuve Clicquot Rich Champagne, a cuvée dedicated to mixology, served on the rocks and paired with spiced wine.

Then it’s time for the unmissable raclette , selected by Xavier Thuret, Fromager Meilleur Ouvrier de France, and accompanied by an assortment of charcuterie from Maison Garcia, truffle salad and grilled potatoes.

For dessert, a mini Norwegian omelette and a chocolate fondue with the “Monsera 37% cacao” and “Akosombo 68% cacao” vintages selected by the Pastry Chef and La Maison du Chocolat, will seduce the finest palates.

The 115 euro per person menu is available with or without drinks.

Stroll down the Champs-Élysées and, in just a few steps, escape to the most popular ski resort in the Alps… From Courchevel to Paris, from the Neiges to Fouquet’s, the Barrière group summons the mountains to the heart of Paris, offering a gastronomic and tourist escapade for all raclette and ski slope enthusiasts.
