Le Bristol Paris is the first hotel in France!

Le Bristol Paris, the first completely renovated hotel in Paris and an exemplary showcase for French art de vivre, has been included for the second year running in one of America’s most prestigious rankings: Travel+Leisure magazine’s World’s Best Awards.

After a meteoric rise, Le Bristol was named first French hotel in the “Top Large City Hotels” category in Europe, dethroning the Ritz Paris and the Four Seasons George V, in second and third place respectively.

This recognition, following the title of “Best Hotel in Europe” awarded in 2013 by the renowned English magazine Condé Nast Traveller, consolidates Le Bristol Paris’ position at the pinnacle of the French hotel industry. A position achieved thanks to a unique location, exceptional gastronomy led by chef Eric Frechon at the helm of two one- and three-Michelin-star restaurants, the largest hotel garden in Paris and, above all, the exemplary service of our teams.

Travel+Leisure, a magazine dedicated to travel and the most beautiful destinations, draws up this annual list of the world’s most beautiful hotels, by country. This selection is based on an online survey of the magazine’s readers.

The results are highly beneficial to France’s tourism image, as five Parisian hotels are listed. The Bristol Paris, the Ritz, the Four Seasons George V, the Plaza Athénée and the Meurice are among the 15 best hotels in Europe.
